All Fiber Arts Newsletter 290623

Hello everyone,
I hope that you are all well and enjoying summer again.
I have been away in Canada for the past several weeks, visiting family and friends.

This newsletter is short, but I wanted to tell you all about a new project that I am working on.

As many of you know, my father was a Sámi. And like many Sámi – he was a great story teller. He recorded many tales about his early years in Sápmi, his world travels and his days working as a commercial fisherman on the west coast of British Columbia.
He recorded his stories onto cassette tape and asked me to pass these stories on to others when the time was right.

I have now started work on this project.
I will be posting these tales onto my YouTube channel, along with a written transcript on my website.
I have completed the first installment of these stories..
