Training

I've been weaving/teaching Navajo Textiles for 16 years or more.I learned the art of weaving, spinning,preparing wool and weaving all regional styles of Navajo Textiles at the age of nine years old.I'm considered a MASTER WEAVER in the Navajo society. I've studied the art form my grand mother and mother and some local MASTER WEAVERS. I also teach at San Jaun College, in Farmington N.M. and Colorado University, Art Center, in Cortez, CO

Weaving

Navajo Up-right weaving, all regional styles, there are about 16 or 18 regionals styles of Navajo Weaving. I also teach hand processing wool for spinning and weaving. I also teach the art of Shash Belt weaving. SPINNING: Navajo lap spinnig techniques.

Travel

I teach from my studio and when available, I do travel. I also give lectures on the "Fine Art of Dine'(Navajo) Textile Weaving", and in the winter months I tell myth stories about weaving.

My work is mostly sold on consignment(s) I do some Indian Market Shows in the west.
