Abrasion Test

Definition:Abrasion tests determine the ability of a fabric to withstand damage by friction. This is dependent on the fineness of the fibre, the amount of twist of the yarn and the weave structure of the fabric. Yarns that have a a firmer and tighter twist are generally more resistant to abrasion. Also Known As:
