Tansies grow in abundance along Kootenay Lake and in grassland areas. The button-like flowers and stems can be used in the dyepot to produce yellows and greens.

I dyed 2 oz. each of pre-mordanted wool rovings, placing them all into the same dyepot with approx. 6 oz. of tansy flowers.
